Win tickets for the Birmingham Baby Show with BabyNatal!

The Baby Show NECWhere is this year going? It’s May already, which means two fantastic things to look forward to this month…. firstly, we are counting down the days to the release of our first book  The Expectant Dad’s Handbook by BabyNatal co-founder Dean Beaumont. The book will be released on the 16th May and we are so excited about it!

The other major date in our May 2012 calendar is, of course, The Baby Show at Birmingham NEC! We are bringing our interactive classrooms to the Midlands and really looking forward to meeting lots of local parents!

Dean will be there, not only on hand to chat about his book, but also running the DaddyNatal workshops each day. These get such amazing feedback from dads as they learn how important their role at birth is BUT also how to fulfil it – something often missed out in other antenatal classes!

BabyNatal classes are always so popular, and we are offering a large selection of them at Birmingham Baby Show so that no one has to miss out (do book in advance though to guarantee yourself a place). Our most popular class is that Practical Baby Care workshop – perfect if you are an expectant parent wanting to learn the basics about caring for a newborn. We will also be on on hand offering our Colic & Calming workshop, supporting you to try some different techniques for easing your little ones cries & troubled tums, and the Baby Sleep workshop, giving you an insight to the world of newborn and baby sleep.

MummyNatal will also be on hand each day of the show, providing a chill-out zone for any mums-to-be, complete with footbaths! We’ll also give you some ideas about how to relax during pregnancy, and techniques you can also use for labour.

To find us at the Show, we will be on the right-hand side as you come in the main entrance – or have a look at the Show Guide & Maps – just look for The Natal Company stand! We have a lovely sofa and lots of teachers who will be available to answer your questions, so don’t hesitate to pop by and say hello. If you want to find out more about our timetable of classes on the day, please have a look at the Baby Show website here.

With so many exciting things happening this month, to celebrate we are giving away 14 pairs of tickets to Birmingham Baby Show! 1. hi, i’m sam fut on fb. i think the first aid ones are brilliant. i used to be in the st john’s ambulance when i was a girl, but i’ve forgotten it all now, and a refresher course is pretty essential when you become a parent

  2. We have a 3 week old and would love to come to the baby show. We went 2 years ago when our first was 6 months old and found it great for finding out info. We’d be sure to check baby natal out… give us some tips on how to bring the little ones wind up as its getting more difficult by the day.

  3. I am so excited about this baby show! We are 28 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby so really looking toward to the practical baby care workshop as we are clueless! But most of all the hubby is looking forward to the daddynatal workshop 🙂 he has mentioned a few times he often feels a bit left out so think this will help him a lot xxx

  4. your colic and calming workshop sounds good, having had a baby that is hard to settle id love to see what calming ideas you have.

  5. Hi – My other half is very much overwhelmed about the whole being a dad for the first time at 40 (along with a carer to his pregnant disabled partner – me) he often comments that there is lots of support midwives, classes, groups for us ladies but very very little for the men – he really needs the Daddy Natal class, as I think it would really put his mind at rest – after all men dont seem to talk to their friends about their fears and I think it would be good for him to meet other first time terrified dads and find out more about it all – hugs and wishing you a successful show – Suz x

  6. Colic and calming. My first daughter had Colic and that was the hardest time of my life! She suffered for 2 weeks and it made me useless that I couldn’t help her.
