I am a mother to 5 beautiful children, my eldest daughter Lucy is 14, my son Russell is 11, my middle son Sebastian is 5, Beatrice is 3 and Harrison is 1. My husband Josh and I live in a small village just outside of Sudbury in Suffolk.
My experience as a mother has taught me many things, but the most important I believe, is that every pregnancy, birth and baby is unique. Each baby has taught me something new and I’m still learning.
Having had my own family, I was drawn to work with children and families, I trained as a breastfeeding supporter 12 years ago. I then worked in the NHS as a Health care assistant where I took further study and trained on a paediatric ward for 5 years. After which I trained as a doula in 2014 but felt I needed to support more parents through educating and empowering them about choice in birth and parenting in a non-prescriptive, non-biased way. This lead me to train with the Natal Family.
