Many of us here at The Natal Family have used or are using stretchy wraps with our babies, and if you’ve been to one of The Baby Shows lately, you would have also seen our teachers wearing and demonstrating stretchy wraps for parents. We have noticed that stretchy wraps seem to attract a lot of attention from other parents, so we thought we’d tried to explain why we (and our babies!) love them so much! Continue reading
Last month we broke from the norm and wrote a review, which over 200,000 people visited to read within just two days! Something I have been asked since is why we don’t do more reviews to support parents weigh up some of the options when looking at particular products… so once a month that is now what we will do!
The first item I have chosen to review is something that generates a lot of discussion when I am out and about, I literally couldn’t walk into a shop over the Christmas period without being stopped to be asked about this item… and that is my pushchair.
We use the Stokke Xplory, and even though I babywear often, I have found myself using this more than I would have expected simply because it is so well designed. Where is this year going? It’s May already, which means two fantastic things to look forward to this month…. firstly, we are counting down the days to the release of our first book The Expectant Dad’s Handbook by BabyNatal co-founder Dean Beaumont. The book will be released on the 16th May and we are so excited about it!
A guest post from our BabyNatal Bedford teacher, Hazel Newhouse.
I like to try out my options when it comes to baby care. I won’t knock it ‘till I’ve tried it, so to speak. Something we all use, and tend to not think twice about is baby wipes. What are your options? Which is cheaper? Do I use Reusable or Disposable? Or plain old cotton wool? And let’s face it, when you’re pregnant, your brain works in mysterious ways. The simplest of decisions becomes a massive task to undertake. I once dragged Jay around 4 different shops once, just to find the perfect tea towels. Strange, I know.
It has been a busy few months here at BabyNatal. As well as being founders of The Natal Company and the DaddyNatal and BabyNatal programmes, myself and Dean are husband and wife… or at least we are now, as we celebrated our wedding day back in October, in the company of family and friends.
